Safety & Environment at LOOP

Over the last three decades, LOOP has transported more than eleven billion barrels of crude oil from foreign and Gulf of Mexico sources into the U.S. As its safety and environmental record demonstrates, LOOP is a safe and efficient transporter of large volumes of crude oil to refineries and strives to be a paragon of safety and environmental concerns.

LOOP employees and contractors are committed to protecting the rich animal and plant life that is integral to South Louisiana and the Mississippi River Delta. We conduct regular oil spill drills alongside federal, state and local agencies and government leaders to ensure LOOP is prepared to address an incident if it were to occur.
