Pipeline Safety Management Systems

LOOP signed the PSMS Commitment and Group Agreement letters pledging to adopt API RP 1173 and will align our current management system with the recommended practice. LOOP’s commitment to Safety Management Systems underscores the Company’s focus on protecting our employees, our contractors, the public, and the environment in pursuit of Goal Zero. LOOP utilizes a comprehensive risk-based approach to ensure the safety of all Company facilities and the safety of the communities where LOOP operates. The Safety Management Systems are based on a continuous improvement Plan-Do-Check-Adjust cycle utilizing fourteen elements from API RP 1173.
