Domestic Terminalling

Some of the world's largest floating platforms produce oil from oil fields that lay a mile or more beneath the surface of the Gulf. LOOP receives crude oil from two of the largest oil fields operating in the Gulf: Mars and Thunder Horse.

LOOP created specific storage facilities to handle the Mars and Thunder Horse crude oil streams. Within hours of a request, LOOP can send these supplies to the customers' choice of destinations. Using the network of pipelines that connect to LOOP, the precise amount can be delivered to the specified refinery in as little as seven hours to several days, depending upon the distance from LOOP.
